General Training is fork test takers wishing to migrate to an English-speaking country (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK), and for those wishing to train or study below degree levels.
The IELTS is in two forms; paper-and-pencil based or internet-based Test (IBT). The students will decide when registering.

You will need your ID (valid passport/national identity card). You must have the same identification that you provided on your IELTS Application form. If you do not have the correct identification document, you will not be able to take the test
It depends on the ability of the student. However, a 3 month period can be enough to prepare one to ace the Test.
A speaking test is a part of the IELTS exam that typically aims to test English speaking proficiency. You don't need to flaunt a western accent to get a high score. Just use your natural accent and focus on speaking clearly and at a natural pace so the examiner will understand you.
The Writing, Speaking and Reading sections of the IELTS exam lasts for 2 hours, 45 minutes. The speaking section lasts 11 - 14 minutes a week before or after the paper.
The Test is rated on a scale of 0 (zero) to nine (9). An expert-level score of 9 means the test taker has fully operational command of the language. Their use of English is appropriate, accurate and fluent, and shows complete understanding.

Your IELTS score is valid for 2 years after the results release date.
